Written by Whedon with his brother, Jed, the shows universally catchy track list strikes the directors trademark balance of snark and earnestness, most notably in Harriss yearning opener My Freeze Ray and Fillions third act show-stopper, Everyones a Hero, a spot-on parody of vaunted superhero icons.
