YO! Been a cwazy time here at the Overlook and it's finally settle down a little bit - but don't let us get too idle - this is what we're here for.
David Morrell's The Hundred-Year Christmas limited edition has been receiving amazing reviews from Tor.com, and other buyers who e-mail me almost every day. We've also had buyers buy MORE copies for next Christmas. They don't want to miss out on this one to give next year. Frankly I'm surprised at the sales all month long on this title. I just received Amazon and distributor orders this week in large numbers - in January? Well okay then! As word is getting out there, we are happy to oblige. But the Overlook customers get first crack at this, so if you still want a copy, by all means let us know, or support any of the booksellers out there that are also offering it.
JACK KETCHUM's Broken on the Wheel of Sex: Our Sterling Edition of this book is in the final stages at the binder with unique binding, special endpapers, bound in silk book mark, and of course the special signature page. This is almost sold out as well. So pre-order customers, it's coming! and if you want one, better get it soon.
NEW KING SLIPCASE IN STOCK! The Stand, Un-Cut Edition Slipcase is now in stock. You can see the pictures below. I only made a small number of these, so pick it up while you can.
The title to Dean Koontz's NEVERMORE comic series has become prophetic it seems... as it was announced recently that the series has been cancelled. There was supposed to be a hardcover but at the moment that has also been removed. We did receive the first two issues, but that was all that was printed. Customers have been notified for refunds / credits on this title and it's been removed from the store. I don't know the story on this, but if anyone does, please let me know.
I've been working on our book with author Tim Richmond, FINGERPRINTS ON THE SKY: The Official Readers Guide to Harlan Ellison. This has been a loooong project, and after many, many revisions and drafts, we are now getting it ready to be typeset.
Yes, that picture at right is my desk with our cat Callie in the foreground. She got tired of waiting for me and came up and got between me and the keyboard while I was working on FINGERPRINTS. You can see the cover of Fingerprints in the background there on my desk monitor. Callie... she thinks she's human - doesn't all cats? LOL! As Rick Hautala would say "She's a Keepah!"
