It is the transformation and fall from stately beauty that the design of the book is modeled. Paper has been designed to mimic Dean's description of the deterioration of Pendleton. Pale green, black-modeled snake like shapes snuggled together, spilling on the floor. Each sheet of paper is made by hand and will vary in it's markings giving each book it's own unique look.
